KY Derby reservations now available at Indiana Grand

SHELBYVILLE, Ind. (March 8, 2021) – The first Saturday in May is one of the biggest days in horse racing and Indiana Grand Racing & Casino is offering seating for all the action. The 147th running of the Kentucky Derby from Churchill Downs is set for Saturday, May 1 and reservations are now being accepted for the Clubhouse at Indiana Grand.

Limited seating and food and beverage options will be in place during the day with continued safety protocols in place. Reservations will secure seating only in the climate-controlled Clubhouse for guests attending the simulcast of the Kentucky Derby racing program.

First post from Churchill Downs is set for approximately 10:30 a.m. with the Kentucky Derby going to post at approximately 7 p.m. Doors will open at 9:30 a.m. at Indiana Grand for racing guests wishing to enjoy the entire racing program. No live racing will be conducted at Indiana Grand on Kentucky Derby Day.

Live racing returns to Indiana Grand Tuesday, April 13 and extends through Monday, Nov. 8, 2021. Racing will be conducted at 2:25 p.m. Monday through Wednesday with first post on Thursday set at 3:25 p.m. In addition, six all-Quarter Horse racing dates are set on select Saturdays throughout the racing season. A special Indiana Champions Day highlighting the state’s top Thoroughbred and Quarter Horses will be held Saturday, Oct. 30 beginning at 12 p.m. More information about the 2021 racing season is available at www.indianagrand.com.
