Racing Season Hiring Event set for Saturday

SHELBYVILLE, Ind. (March 23, 2022) – Horseshoe Indianapolis Racing & Casino will host a special hiring event for the upcoming 20th season of Thoroughbred and Quarter Horse racing. The exclusive event is set for 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. Saturday, March 26 in the Caesars Suite, located on the third floor of the racing building.


A large variety of jobs will be available to applicants 18 years of age and older directly related to the horse racing operations at Horseshoe Indianapolis. Several open positions are currently available in security, equine maintenance, mutuel tellers, track maintenance, starting gate, jockey’s room custodian, and other racing related opportunities. There will also be an opportunity to seek information on positions available in Food and Beverage, which has several outlets on the racing side.


“Our racing season runs from April through November,” said Annette Torres, Human Resources Recruitment Specialist. “It’s a fun and fast-paced environment for those seeking both part time and full-time employment in a seasonal setting. The racing positions are unique, and for those individuals who love working outdoors, it’s an excellent opportunity to join a progressive company in a different capacity.”


The racing season hiring event will offer on-the-spot interviews with hiring managers along with additional information on employment with Caesars Entertainment.
