Richardville named Barn Crew of the Month

SHELBYVILLE, Ind. (Aug. 28, 2020) – Maintaining a well-kept barn is a lot of work and the team behind Tianna Richardville’s stable at Indiana Grand goes above and beyond to ensure the area looks the best at all times. Because of their hard work, the stable has been named Barn Crew of the Month, presented by Texas Corral and the Indiana Horsemen’s Benevolent and Protective Association (HBPA).

“I have a very dedicated and hard-working crew,” said Richardville. “They take pride in the way the barn looks and more importantly, they take good care of the horses. We try to keep everything color coordinated and have a nice display of flowers this year too.”

Richardville’s stable colors of orange and blue stand out on the backstretch. Mixed with a zebra print, the aisleway definitely captures attention in Barn One, just inside the stable gate.

For their hard work, the Richardville team will receive a $200 gift certificate to Texas Corral, located on Route 9 in Shelbyville. The restaurant offers a wide array of fare and is a popular spot for horsemen and horsewomen following the races. Co-sponsor Indiana HBPA facilitates the monthly award and will provide a banner to be hung at the Richardville barn for the next month.

A special Winner’s Circle presentation was made to Richardville and members of her barn during the races Wednesday, Aug. 26.
