Tracey Wisner Stable named first "Barn Crew of the Month" for 2020

SHELBYVILLE, Ind. (July 28, 2020) – The Tracey Wisner Stable is the recipient of the first Barn Crew of the Month for 2020. The award is presented to a barn that goes above and beyond to ensure its overall appearance and condition of the horses are top notch, and the Wisner Stable checks all boxes for those categories.

“We even dust our fans,” said Wisner, longtime trainer in Indiana. “My team really works hard to keep a very well-kept barn. They are very neat and even take down cobwebs once a week.”

The Wisner Stable was selected by an independent committee on the backstretch for the monthly award. The honor is co-sponsored by the Indiana Horsemen’s Benevolent and Protective Association (HBPA) along with Texas Corral, located on Route 9 in Shelbyville.

Wisner’s team was presented with the honor following the first race Tuesday, July 28 at Indiana Grand. They received $200 in credits for Texas Corral to enjoy as a group for their hard work. They will also receive a banner on their barn for a month to signify the award.

Indiana HPBA and Texas Corral will provide three more Barn Crew of the Month awards in 2020, extending into October.
